The Crypalyzer shows you what you paid for your crypto and what it is worth. To do that it needs to store a small amount of information about you. This page says what, why, where, for how long, and how to delete it.
What we store
- Your email address, to sign you in. There is no password.
- The trades you add: date, coin, amount, price, fee, and which of your accounts they belong to, and the names you give those accounts. They come from the files you upload or the rows you confirm.
- The files you upload are read once, turned into trades, and then only a fingerprint of the file is kept so the same file is not counted twice.
- Your settings, such as your currency.
What we never store
- Exchange keys that could withdraw or trade. If we ever accept exchange keys they will be read-only and encrypted, and the app will refuse any key with more power than that.
- Wallet seed phrases, private keys or passwords. Never ask us for them and never type them into The Crypalyzer.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in a database in Sydney, Australia, hosted by Supabase, and the app runs on Vercel. Each account is separated from every other account at the database level, so one person’s holdings cannot be shown to another.
Who sees it
Nobody but you and, when you ask for help, the people who run The Crypalyzer. We do not sell or share your data. Prices come from a public price feed; we send it the names of coins, never who holds them.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Delete your account and your data goes with it.
Your choices
- See everything The Crypalyzer holds about you on your dashboard.
- Delete your account from Settings, or email us and we will do it within a few days.
- Ask us what we hold, or to correct it, at any time.
Australian law
The Crypalyzer is run from Australia and follows the Australian Privacy Principles. If we ever suffer a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
